How to Apply for a UK Tourist Visa from India?

Step 1:

You must apply for a UK tourist visa at the UK tourist visa agency. You will need to apply for a visa through their website.

You must apply for a visa at least three months before your intended arrival date in the UK.

Step 2:

You will need to submit the following documents to support your application.

• A passport, photo, and an application fee.

• A letter of invitation from relatives in the UK.

• A bank statement for the last six months.

• A letter of invitation from your employer in India.

• You must submit your application to the Indian High Commission.

Step 3:

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a decision on whether you will be granted a visa.

Step 4:

If your application is approved, you will receive an entry permit that you need to apply for before you travel to the UK. This is called the PIO/PIOE visa and the application fee for this is also £160.

Step 5:

The Indian High Commission will send you a letter informing you about the application approval.

Step 6:

Your visa will be sent to you within one month of submitting the application.

When you receive your visa, you must present it to an immigration officer at the UK Border.

You must provide a UK police certificate when you pass the UK border unless you are a British citizen.
